Mrs. Danielle Anderson

Rising Star of the Year

Danielle Anderson is the Senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager at GE Aviation’s Additive Technology Center where she has responsibility for advancing site Environmental Health and Safety programs as well as maintaining facility infrastructure and site security. Danielle has received recognition for her work implementing global security programs and was awarded with the 2021 “Site Program Implementation” Award by GE Aviation's Global Security Team. 

Danielle began her career in GE Aviation’s Operations Management Leadership Program. During this time she had the opportunity to support Engine Test Operations in Evendale, Ohio, lead the Newark, Delaware site through an OSHA VPP recertification, and improve On Time Delivery (OTD) by 30% as a supervisor in Dayton’s component repair shop. 

Danielle graduated from University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors in Environmental Engineering in 2017. During her time at UC she had the pleasure to serve as the President (2015-2016) of National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). As well as Co-founding and serving as President of the Society of Environmental Engineers (SEE). Danielle was also a pole vaulter on the UC Women’s Track and Field Team (2012-2014). 

Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, daughter Autumn (1 year old), and dog Ellie as well as extended family and friends. She and her husband serve as Youth Ministers at Christ Tabernacle Apostolic Church.
